Counseling - MercyMed

At MercyMed, we care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. We offer classes, counseling, and support groups to support emotional and spiritual well-being for both our patients and members of the community.

Mental Health Classes (Open to All)

Anyone can attend our mental health classes. These sessions are led by experts and focus on structured topics such as sleep, stress, and other key factors that affect mental health, along with practical ways to better support your overall well-being.

Grey Rock Mental Health Support

Our Grey Rock Mental Health Support Group is open to anyone with a mental health diagnosis. Rev. David Baum, our patient advocate and chaplain, offers a safe environment for members to support each other and learn important coping skills together. Ask for a referral from your healthcare provider.

Counseling Services

Our team is here to help. We offer individual, couples, family, and play therapy. We serve anyone struggling with mental health issues, grief and loss, drug/alcohol addiction, and struggles with life or faith in general. We welcome prospective patients to call us at 706-507-9209 with any questions or concerns before completing forms!

We request that individuals register as a MercyMed patient on the patient portal here to access counseling services.
We also request individuals complete the counseling intake packet available here.

Counseling Fees, Insurance & Access

All counseling services and mental health support services are open to the community.
Fees are based on a sliding scale, based on household size and income, to make care affordable and accessible for all income levels.
To determine sliding scale pricing, please complete the intake packet here and provide proof of income.
We have in-network providers for most major insurance plans.
Patients whose insurance plan covers services are welcome to check with their plan for pricing and in-network status.
